An indigenous oil and gas company, Matrix Energy Limited, has concluded plans to inaugurate the first Liquefied Petroleum Gas plant with a capacity of over five million litres in Warri, Delta State.
The plant, which is the first privately built LPG facility, is billed to be inaugurated by the Federal Government in December.
The Managing Director, Matrix Energy, Alhaji Abdukabir Aliu, represented by the Chief Operation Officer, Mr. Loqman Salam-Alada, stated this on Wednesday when the leadership of the Nigerian Association of LPG Marketers visited the site of the project in Warri.
He stated that with the completion of the project, plant owners within Bayelsa, Delta, Edo and other neighbouring states, would thenceforth not need to travel to Lagos to purchase the product.
