An indigenous oil and gas company, Matrix Energy Limited, on Friday denied the involvement of one of its vessels in an alleged illegal oil business by the Nigerian Navy.
The company said recent media report, linking one of its vessels; MT Matrix 1, to illegal oil business activities, as false and misleading.
A statement signed by the Human Resources Manager of Matrix, Gbolahan Agberemi, and a copy of it made available to our correspondent in Warri, said although its vessel was arrested, it never contravened any law.
